Khumba

Khumba is an animated adventure feature about a young half-striped zebra named Khumba, born with stripes on only half his body. In a superstitious herd that believes full stripes bring luck, Khumba is unfairly blamed when a drought hits their land. Feeling like an outcast and desperate to prove himself, he sets off on a journey to find a legendary magical waterhole said to grant zebras their full stripes.

Along the way, Khumba teams up with two quirky companions—a sassy, feisty wildebeest named Mama V and an eccentric ostrich named Bradley. Together, they travel through the Great Karoo, facing strange creatures and dangerous landscapes. But the greatest threat is Phango, a ruthless leopard obsessed with hunting Khumba, believing that the half-striped zebra is destined to complete his own prophecy.

Through his journey, Khumba discovers that true identity isn’t something you earn—it’s something you embrace. The film highlights themes of self-acceptance, courage, diversity, and finding strength in what makes you different.
